In Builder, you can create as many versions of content entries as you like. Creating multiple versions allows you to test different experiences, target different versions to various audiences, revert back to previous iterations, and more.
There are two main ways to manage versions with Builder: the Versions Tab in the Visual Editor or directly from the Content List Tab.
However, the recommended way to create a version is using the Versions Tab, which is explained here.
From the Versions Tab you can:
- View all your versions with related details and previews
- Link to the history of the current version
- Jump to a different version
- Create new versions
To create a new version, click on the Versions Tab, select. +New Version, and give your version a name.
Your new version now appears in the list on the Versions Tab. Note that this version has been scheduled. You can read about scheduling versions of your content in the Scheduling documentation.
Your new version appears in the content list, which is at your builder.io/content
page.
