Gain valuable knowledge about your website's traffic and resource consumption by monitoring detailed usage analytics on Visual Views and Bandwidth usage per URL.

With this insight, you can make informed decisions, align your resources effectively, and maximize value of your subscription.

Builder tracks Visual Views using an actual image pixel rather than JavaScript. This means each Visual Views event does not have as much detail associated with it when compared to impression tracking data, which does use JavaScript.

To approximate Visual Views by URL, Builder correlates impression data with Visual Views data and performs calculations to estimate the number of impressions per URL.

This estimation enables the derivation of a percentage of Visual Views attributed to each URL, providing customers with insight into their website's traffic.

To view the Visual Views for your website:

  1. Go to the Subscription section of Settings.
  2. On the right side, select By Request.
  3. For more information on each line item, click on the URL.

The video below demonstrates this process and shows that the item clicked on is a popular blog post.

The By Request view displays the top Visual Views by request for the selected month. The table shows the estimated count of Visual Views for each URL, along with the percentage it contributes to the total Visual Views.

In the table, all entries are clickable, so that you can go to the specific URL. Additionally, you can adjust the number of items displayed in the table, with options ranging from 10 to 100.

To track your bandwidth:

  1. Go to Account Settings > Subscription.
  2. Bandwidth stats are in the middle tile.

Bandwidth is the volume of information that can be sent over a connection in a measured amount of time.

Understanding your bandwidth usage is crucial for optimizing resource consumption. Builder's Bandwidth Usage feature provides detailed insights into the amount of bandwidth consumed by different assets, files, and content requests on your website.

To view your bandwidth data:

  1. Go to the Subscription section of your Account Settings.
  2. Click on the Bandwidth tile.
  3. Select By Request.
  4. For more information on each line item, click on the URL.

The video below demonstrates this process and shows that the item clicked on is a popular video asset.

The table displays the bandwidth usage for each URL. All entries are clickable, so you can identify which assets utilize the most bandwidth. Additionally, you can adjust the number of items displayed in the table, with options ranging from 10 to 100.

Note that API requests contribute to your monthly bandwidth quota, such as:
